HOLIDAY FUN

Millions of homes across the United States are now happily decorating for the holidays.  They are using traditional Christmas trees as the center of attraction.  It was not until the 19th century that the first Christmas tree became known. Legend has it it originated in Wooster, Ohio. August Imgard an immigrant from Bavaria came to live with family in Wooster.  A Christmas tree is a primary custom in Bavaria and as the season approached he passed on this customary tradition to his family and it caught on!  Today in Wooster, Ohio a lighted Christmas tree stands in front of August Imgard's tomb. The Christmas tree is a symbol of peace, love and hope that is Christmas.  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Year End is Upon Us……A Checklist for Medical Practices

Instead of making a “Resolution List” for 2010, we should be thinking about how to end this year about reviewing the items we weren’t able to accomplish in 2009.  Many accounting firms do “year end planning” with their clients so the client is able to plan for investments, compensation, taxes and capital gains/losses for their business.
