Below are a few tips that will help keep you (and your co-workers) happy and make the overall work environment more pleasant.
Lose the negativity. Negativity spreads like wildfire, infecting not just your work life but your home life too. In order to improve your work environment you need to try to get and stay positive. Be honest, but make sure your positive comments outnumber your negative comments by 10:1.
Be sincere. Give off positive energy and treat people with respect; it’s an effective way to create a better work environment and achieve your career goals.
Embrace Change. Change can be difficult, but in all work environments it’s inevitable, so your best bet is to roll with it. Adapting easily to change can improve your relationship with your boss as well as your coworkers.
Pull your own weight. Working well with others will improve your work environment and help you achieve your career goals. Getting along with coworkers means being available, reliable, adaptable, respectful, clear, and fair.
